Photinia 'Magical Volcano', is an evergreen shrub with young leaves of a gorgeous red colour. This selection of the photinia branches better than the better known 'Red Robin', giving the plant more of a beautiful and fuller shape, the foliage of this plant is slightly wavy. The plant can reach a height of 175cm and is easy to prune. Prefers half a day or so of sun or more, there's no soil requirements.

Photinias are relatively low maintenance plants once established. Water thoroughly throughout the growing season until established. If you are growing your Photinia as a hedge, you can trim the plant 2-3 times a year from late June through to Mid August. Feed annually with some well rotted compost/manure.
