Flowering Hedging

Flowering hedges add colour, fragrance and seasonal interest to the garden while still providing structure and privacy. These hedging plants brighten borders from spring through autumn, offering blooms that attract bees and create a lively, welcoming garden.

Beautiful options include Photinia Red Robin, whose colourful new growth shines like flowers, and Escallonia Pink Elle or Escallonia Apple Blossom, which produce clusters of summer blooms on attractive evergreen foliage. If you stock them, Choisya Aztec Pearl, Rosa Rugosa, Hydrangea paniculata and Lavandula Hidcote also make brilliant flowering hedge options.

Flowering hedges pair wonderfully with Nepeta Six Hills Giant, Geranium Rozanne, Salvia Hot Lips and ornamental grasses, enhancing colour and movement throughout the season.
