Echinacea purpurea, commonly known as Coneflower, is a beloved perennial native to North America, prized for its stunning purple-pink daisy-like flowers and medicinal properties. This resilient plant features sturdy stems topped with large, cone-shaped centres surrounded by drooping petals, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies to the garden. Echinacea purpurea blooms profusely from summer to autumn, adding a burst of colour to borders, wildflower meadows, and cottage gardens.

This plant is a herbaceous perennial. Herbaceous perennials die back below ground level each autumn, then fresh new growth will appear in the spring. In the autumn, cut all dead flower stems down to ground level. It is advised to give this plant a feed in the spring.
