Native to Asia, this shade-loving plant has found a special place in the hearts of gardeners, enchanting with its distinctive heart-shaped flowers and delicate foliage. The finely-cut, fern-like, mid-green foliage of Bleeding Heart forms an enchanting mound, thriving in shaded areas under the canopy of larger trees or against north-facing wall.

This plant is a herbaceous perennial. Herbaceous perennials die back below ground level each autumn, then fresh new growth will appear in the spring. We recommend feeding this plant in March.
