Catananche caerulea, commonly known as the Blue Cupid's Dart, is a charming perennial that produces striking, deep blue, daisy-like flowers with a distinct, papery texture. These blooms are held on slender, tall stems above narrow, silvery-green foliage, creating a delicate and airy presence in the garden. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, this variety is perfect for borders, wildflower meadows, or as a cut flower. Blooming from early to mid-summer, Catananche caerulea is both pollinator-friendly and drought-tolerant once established, offering long-lasting colour and elegance to the garden.

This plant is a herbaceous perennial. Herbaceous perennials die back below ground level each autumn, then fresh new growth will appear in the spring.
