Delosperma Candystone is a low growing, long flowering perennial with vivid daisy like blooms that shine from late spring through summer. The flowers sit above fleshy, succulent foliage that forms a neat, spreading mat, making it perfect for gravel gardens, rockeries, sunny banks and containers. Candystone thrives in hot, dry spots and adds bright colour with very little fuss. Its steady flowering and compact habit make it a great choice for small spaces and sun drenched areas.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
