Penstemon ‘Hewell’s Pink’ is a reliable, long-flowering perennial that brings strong summer colour to the garden. Its upright stems carry masses of soft pink, tubular flowers with pale throats, appearing from early summer through to autumn. The neat green foliage forms a tidy clump that looks good even before the flowers appear.
It’s easy to grow, thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and flowers for months with regular deadheading. Pair it with Echinacea ‘White Swan’ for contrast, Stipa tenuissima ‘Pony Tails’ for movement and texture, and Scabious ‘Pink Mist’ for a soft, coordinated display that bees and butterflies will love.
