Digitalis purpurea ‘Excelsior Mixed’ produces tall foxglove spires in a varied mix of classic colours, often facing outwards rather than all to one side. This creates a fuller, more open look in the border. Ideal for cottage gardens and informal planting where variation is welcome.

This perennial is herbaceous, it dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring. Depending on the time of year you order, the plants may arrive looking different to our photos. Please plant as normal.

Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist but well drained soil.
You can plant at any time of year provided the ground is not frozen or waterlogged. If planting during warmer weather, water regularly until established.
Remove spent spikes or allow to self seed for future displays.
