Salvia nemorosa Sensation White is a compact, fresh looking perennial with clean white flower spikes that bloom from early summer into early autumn. The bright blooms stand tall above a neat mound of aromatic green foliage, bringing light, uplift and gentle structure to sunny borders. Its compact form makes it ideal for smaller gardens, the front of borders, pots and mixed planting schemes. Sensation White is attractive to bees and other pollinators and blends beautifully with pastels, grasses and other airy summer perennials.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
