Geranium x cantabrigiense Karmina is a compact, spreading perennial that produces masses of soft rosy pink flowers in early to midsummer. The blooms sit above a tidy mound of aromatic green foliage that forms a gentle carpet and helps suppress weeds. This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once planted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm growers pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away, water gently, and place it in a bright, sheltered spot for a short time while it settles. Plant out or pot on as soon as possible, keeping the soil moist while the roots establish. Once settled, it will grow into a healthy, long lasting perennial for your garden.
