This plant is available on a pre order basis and will be dispatched in the month shown in the product title. If your order contains both in stock plants and pre order plants, your order may be held until all items are available and ready to ship. If you would prefer items to be sent separately, we recommend placing separate orders.
Dispatch dates are estimates and may occasionally change slightly depending on growing conditions and plant readiness. Plants will always be sent when they are strong enough to travel and establish well.
Anemone x hybrida Andrea Atkinson is a graceful late flowering perennial that brings fresh white blooms to the garden when many other plants are beginning to fade. The large flowers sit on tall, slender stems above a mound of attractive, divided foliage, adding light movement and height to borders. It is an excellent choice for brightening partial shade and is especially effective in naturalistic planting, woodland edges and late summer displays. Bees and pollinators visit the open blooms, and the plant returns reliably each year.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
