This plant is available on a pre order basis and will be dispatched in the month shown in the product title. If your order contains both in stock plants and pre order plants, your order may be held until all items are available and ready to ship. If you would prefer items to be sent separately, we recommend placing separate orders.

Dispatch dates are estimates and may occasionally change slightly depending on growing conditions and plant readiness. Plants will always be sent when they are strong enough to travel and establish well.

Achillea millefolium Paprika is a soft, meadow style perennial that brings warm red flower clusters through summer, fading gently to softer tones as the season progresses. The flat flower heads sit above feathery green foliage, adding light structure and movement to borders. It works well in naturalistic planting schemes, cottage gardens and wildlife friendly spaces, and is known for attracting bees and butterflies throughout the warmer months. Paprika forms a steady, reliable clump that returns year after year.

Sunlight position:
Full sun

Eventual height and spread:
Height 60 cm, Spread 45 cm

Soil type:
Well drained soil

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
