Our ¼ Standard Photinia ‘Red Robin’ Tree is a compact and colourful choice for adding evergreen structure to the garden. Standing at around 1.7m tall, it features a 100cm clear stem topped with a neat 70cm head of glossy foliage, making it perfect for smaller gardens, patios, and terraces.
Photinia ‘Red Robin’ is prized for its vibrant red new growth in spring and summer, which gradually matures to a deep, rich green. This constant flush of fresh colour provides a beautiful contrast and ensures year-round interest. In spring, clusters of small white flowers may also appear, adding even more charm.
The term¼ Standard refers to the shorter clear stem, which gives the tree a lower crown compared to ½ or full Standards. This makes it an excellent option for gardens where you want greenery at eye level, as well as height without overpowering the space.
Hardy, easy to grow, and low-maintenance, this tree only needs a light trim once or twice a year to keep its shape.
