Nepeta grandiflora Dawn to Dusk is a soft, airy perennial with pale pink to lilac flowers that appear from early to midsummer. The loose, upright stems carry delicate blooms above aromatic green foliage, adding gentle movement and a relaxed feel to borders. It is ideal for cottage gardens, naturalistic planting and wildlife friendly areas, where its nectar rich flowers attract bees and pollinators. Dawn to Dusk blends beautifully with grasses and other light, flowing perennials and returns reliably each year.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
