Nepeta x faassenii Snowflake is a soft, airy perennial with delicate white flowers that appear from early summer into autumn. The blooms sit above aromatic grey green foliage, bringing a fresh, light feel to borders while adding gentle movement in the breeze. Snowflake is ideal for cottage gardens, naturalistic planting, gravel gardens and pollinator friendly spaces, where its long flowering season attracts bees and butterflies. Its compact, spreading habit makes it perfect for edging paths, softening border fronts and blending with soft pastels or grasses.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
