This plant is available on a pre order basis and will be dispatched in the month shown in the product title. If your order contains both in stock plants and pre order plants, your order may be held until all items are available and ready to ship. Dispatch dates are estimates and may occasionally change slightly depending on growing conditions and plant readiness. Plants will always be sent when they are strong enough to travel and establish well.
Nepeta x faassenii Six Hills Giant is a classic, long flowering perennial with soft lilac blue flowers that appear from early summer and continue well into autumn. The aromatic grey green foliage forms a spreading mound that brings gentle movement and a relaxed, naturalistic feel to borders. It is ideal for cottage gardens, pollinator friendly planting and sunny mixed borders, where its nectar rich blooms attract bees and butterflies throughout the season. Six Hills Giant is reliable, easy to grow and blends beautifully with roses, grasses and other light, flowing perennials.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
