Geranium x cantabrigiense Cambridge is a compact, dependable perennial with soft pink flowers that appear above a tidy mound of aromatic green foliage in early summer. It spreads gently, making it an excellent choice for edging borders, filling gaps, underplanting around shrubs or creating a naturalistic, informal look. The foliage often develops warm tones later in the season, adding extra interest. Cambridge is easy to grow, tolerant of a range of conditions and returns every year with a reliable, steady display.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
