Gaillardia aristata SpinTop Yellow Touch is a bold, long flowering perennial with bright yellow blooms tipped with warm red towards the centre. The daisy like flowers appear from early summer right into autumn, adding vibrant colour to sunny borders, pots and gravel gardens. Its compact, rounded habit makes it easy to place, while the nectar rich flowers are a favourite with bees and other pollinators. SpinTop Yellow Touch is reliable, heat tolerant and ideal for bringing warm, sunny tones to the garden.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once potted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away and water gently if the compost feels dry. Pot the plug into a small pot using fresh compost and keep the compost lightly moist while the roots establish. Once the plant has grown on and the risk of frost has passed, it can be planted into the garden where it will develop into a healthy, long lasting perennial.
