1/4 Standard Hibiscus ‘Lady Stanley’ is a stunning, elegant flowering tree, loved for its soft blush pink blooms with deep red centres that appear from mid to late summer. The semi-double flowers have a delicate, almost ruffled look, bringing a light, romantic feel to the garden just as many other plants are starting to fade. Its neat lollipop shape makes it perfect for adding height and structure without taking up much space.
Quick Facts
This is a deciduous plant, so it will lose its leaves in autumn and regrow fresh foliage each spring.
When does Hibiscus ‘Lady Stanley’ flower
It flowers from mid to late summer, often continuing into early autumn, giving you colour when many other plants have finished.
Can it be grown in a pot
Yes, it is ideal for containers. Just make sure it has enough space for the roots and is kept well watered during warm weather.
Does it need pruning
Yes, prune in early spring to maintain its shape and encourage strong new growth, which produces the flowers.
Will it come back every year
Yes, it is fully hardy and will return each spring. It can be slow to leaf out, so don’t worry if it looks late compared to other plants.
This standard Hibiscus works beautifully as a focal point in a patio container or positioned either side of a doorway. Underplant with Geranium Rozanne for long-lasting colour at the base, or soften the look with ornamental grasses for a more natural, flowing style. It also pairs well with late summer perennials like Salvia and Verbena, helping to create a layered, extended display.
Plant in a sunny, sheltered position for the best flowering results. Use a good quality, free-draining compost in pots and water regularly, especially during dry spells. Feed in spring with a balanced fertiliser to support healthy growth and flowering. Annual pruning will help maintain a full, rounded head and encourage plenty of blooms each year.
Amazing Service
How online retail should be done.
Genuinely the best service I’ve ever received from an online retailer. I ordered three of the ‘plant your own’ bay tree pot kits. They came really fast, and were packaged so well.
It’s all recyclable too!!

Thank you One Click
Received our plants in quick time, excellently packaged and in very good condition. These are large plants, not small, ready to make an impression in our garden. I can't say how pleased I am, with this and my former order, to see that the company are consistent with supplying plants of excellence.
