Camellia japonica ‘Nikisi Kerin’ is a beautiful evergreen shrub, prized for its glossy, deep green foliage and spectacular spring flowers. Its large, elegant blooms feature layers of soft pink petals, creating a striking display against the dark evergreen leaves. The foliage provides structure and colour throughout the year, making it an excellent addition to borders, woodland-style planting and large containers.
Best grown in a sheltered position in partial shade, ‘Nikisi Kerin’ prefers acidic, well-drained soil. If your garden soil is not naturally acidic, it can be grown successfully in a large container filled with ericaceous compost. A wonderful choice for bringing impressive colour to the garden during the early part of the year.
