Campanula portenschlagiana forms a spreading mat of green foliage covered in masses of star shaped blue or white flowers. It is ideal for walls, rockeries, and ground cover. A very reliable and floriferous plant.

This perennial is semi evergreen, it may lose some or all of its leaves if it is in a particularly colder region or in an exposed garden. Fresh new growth will appear in the spring. This perennial may be particularly attractive to slugs and snails.
