They have large glossy green leaves and they're renowned for their shade tolerance. Often grown as a houseplant, this trendy tropical shrub is perfect for any home or garden. This plant has received the Award of Garden Merit by RHS. Suitable for all light and soil aspects but prefers to be sheltered from a harsh wind.

A brilliant evergreen shrub which is very low maintenance. Will need protection from prolonged periods of frost. Protect young plants in the first couple of years. Remove any unsightly stems in mid to late spring.
