Plant in full sun in very well drained soil, especially in gravel or along a sunny border edge.
You can plant at any time of year provided the ground is not frozen or waterlogged. If planting during warmer weather, water regularly until established.
After flowering, trim back lightly to maintain shape. Avoid hard cutting into old woody growth.
