Clematis 'Prince Charles' produces an abundance of mauve-blue flowers. Due to its compact free flowering habit it is ideal for being grow in containers or in a smaller garden.

This climber is deciduous, it will lose its leaves in autumn and fresh new growth will appear in the spring. In spring, cut back the previous years stems to a pair of strong buds, approx 20cm above the ground. Apply a mulch of compost to the base of the plant.  Pruning group 3.
