Ajuga tenorii 'Chocolate Chip' (Young Perennial) PRE ORDER SPRING '26

Ajuga tenorii Chocolate Chip is a compact, low growing perennial with narrow, chocolate toned leaves that form a neat spreading carpet. It is ideal for ground cover in smaller spaces, rockeries, underplanting around shrubs or filling gaps at the front of borders. In spring and early summer it produces short spikes of deep blue flowers that attract bees and add a soft lift of colour. Chocolate Chip is a reliable, easy growing plant that offers year round interest and works well in naturalistic or informal planting.

This plant is supplied as a young perennial plug around 3 to 5 cm in size. These smaller plants grow on quickly once planted and usually take around eight to twelve weeks to reach the size of a typical 9 cm growers pot. When your young plant arrives, unpack it straight away, water gently, and place it in a bright, sheltered spot for a short time while it settles. Plant out or pot on as soon as possible, keeping the soil moist while the roots establish. Once settled, it will grow into a healthy, long lasting perennial for your garden.
