Remember, a poinsettia prefers bright, indirect light and slightly moist soil. You can keep indoors during the holiday season, but these plants will also grow outdoors during the summer and warmer months as an evergreen plant.
Never allow your poinsettia to sit in pots that do not allow for sufficient drainage. Excess water to their roots can cause rot.
This traditional symbol of Christmas features glossy green leaves with spiky edges and bright red berries. Opt for dwarf varieties for indoor decorating.
