Care:
A relatively low maintenance palm as long as the basics are followed. Plant in well drained, fertile soil in Full Sun/Partial Shade. Use a soil based compost when planting - we recommend John Innes No 2, add around 20% grit to help with drainage. Protect from harsh, cold drying winds and remember that the leaves may need protection if the temperature drops below -10 degrees Celsius. Add a slow release fertiliser or use a liquid feed every two weeks during the growing season if planted in a container.
