More information:
This shrub is deciduous, it will lose its leaves in winter and fresh new growth will appear in the spring. No routine pruning is required, however it is advised to remove the spent flower heads after flowering along with any damaged or crossing shoots. Apply a generous mulch of compost around the base of the plant in early spring.
