Many gardeners panic when their garden is in a shady spot or if they have a shady area in their garden  but there really is no need to panic, there are still many plants which tolerate being in a shaded spot - in fact there are certain plants which thrive in a shady spot!  For example, Sarcococca confusa which is a brilliant evergreen shrub that produces small white flowers and a beautiful fragrance and is perfect for a shady spot in the garden!
