More information:
Achilleas do not like wet soil, especially during the winter months. Plant Achilleas in well drained soil, add grit to your soil prior to planting. In the summer months, use bamboo canes to stake the tall flower stems. Do not cut down this perennial until late winter as they look particularly attractive during the autumn months.
Many garden designers recommend planting Achillea in groups of three for a balanced, cohesive look. It helps the plants stand out together and creates a lovely flow in your garden. But don't worry—this plant also looks great on its own or in smaller groupings!
