Acers, also known as Japanese maple trees, are a fantastic and very popular group of trees and shrubs. Acers are primarily grown for their beautiful foliage which often provide brilliant autumn colour before the leaves drop. Although Acers do drop their leaves in the winter, they are still fantastic parts of our garden displays as they often have very vibrant stems in shades of bright red/orange which glow on the darkest of days. A keen favourite of ours is Acer Jordan, a beautiful Acer with lime green foliage on peculiar leaves.
